Peanut Butter Dog Treats Recipe

Peanut Butter Dog Treats Recipe

Try out these cute, tasty homemade peanut butter dogs treats for National Peanut Butter Day!

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 mashed banana
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 low sodium vegetable or beef stock
  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF
  2. Combine all four ingredients – the dough will be thick!
  3. Press the dough into a ball, then roll out evenly to about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Use a cookie cutter (we prefer bone-shaped ones)
  5. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 18 minutes or until golden brown and dry. Larger cookies may need to bake longer.
  7. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-5 days, in the refrigerator for up to 2 months, or in the freezer for up to 3 months. Frozen treats should be thawed a bit before sharing with your pup.
