How we roll

How we roll

In case of any emergency with your pet, you’ll be contacted immediately by your pet sitter. 417 Pet Sitting will transport your pet to your vet and call you on the way.  In the event that an emergency arises after hours your pet will be taken to the Emergency Vet and treated according to your wishes.

When we visit your home each day, we have a report card that your sitter will leave behind, with notes to show what transpired during each visit. We note the time of day we arrived, if your pet was fed at that time, how your pet behaved, whether we watered plants, had to clean up after your pet, etc. This lets you know everything that happened while you were away for the day and also ensures  that your sitter was there and the last time the fur-kids were out to play.

We accept cash, check, money order, and credit cards as form of payment.  Checks and Money Orders can be made payable to “417 Pet Sitting” only.

To ensure the accuracy of your pet sitter, all information collected by your pet sitter during your in-home consultation is entered into our database and used as reference while completing each sitting assignment.  Please provide as much information as possible and let us know if you have any changes in information.

As you know, there are many factors that might shorten or delay your return from your trip (i.e. delayed flights, traffic). If, for any reason, you expect any changes to your return date that you have scheduled with us, please contact as soon as possible so that we may make arrangements for your sitter to continue care for your pet(s) until you return.

Unless otherwise arranged, your sitter will retain your house key and security codes, properly secured, until you leave our service. This arrangement makes it more convenient and efficient for future sitting assignments, and serves as a reliable backup should you ever need us in time of emergency. There is an extra $15 charge for pickup and/or delivery of keys after the initial consultation date.

Cancellation Policy

417 Pet Sitting allows individual pet care providers to establish their own cancellation policies, which may vary but should not exceed our company policy. Our primary focus is providing outstanding pet care and services. When clients book with us, they secure our time and reserve a spot in our calendar, which becomes exclusively dedicated to them and cannot be allocated to anyone else. Therefore, these policies ensure fairness and accountability while respecting clients’ and service providers’ time and commitments.
